Technologists to the core

We live and breathe this stuff.

Walnut Innovation was founded by three partners who have worked together for over 15 years.

We each share a love of solving problems, technology, and the benefits it can bring to consumers and businesses.

We have each seen the radical changes and opportunities that the mobile and cloud revolutions have brought to our industry. We have also seen the challenges these changes can bring to business.

More than ever, we are excited to meet the next client, discuss the next problem, and find the next solution.

Jon Saville

Jon started writing software for early mobile telecoms, before moving on to e-commerce and big data.

Along the way he became a specialist in public transport technology, and has planned and managed the roll-out of smart ticketing, tracking and public information for huge vehicle fleets.

Jon loves coffee (obviously), architecture and talking about himself in the third person.

Neil Wykes

If there’s a problem that can’t be solved with technology, Neil hasn’t met it and solved it with technology yet.

Starting out in professional services, and with an infectious love of the next New Thing, Neil has brought his skills to some of the largest consultancies and smallest startups.

Neil is a serial entrepreneur, and may generally be found in an airport.

Clive Smalley

Clive is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and financial controller of multiple businesses over several decades.

Besides keeping Walnut Innovation on a sound financial footing, Clive has an innate business brain. He brings his experience and insight to every project.

Clive enjoys descending mountains with small bits of wood strapped to each foot. No-one knows why.
